POTENTIAL REALITY

An astrophysicist said that had we employed empiricsim or scientific reason throughout the Dark or Middle Ages, we would have centuries ago have visited and returned from distant stars. This is just one thing we should have done long ago. What else could we have done if we advanced as we should have? Would we not have eliminated disease, suffering, violence, and live in perfect health? Would each of us not enjoy an unimaginable quality of life? Would we not be thousands of years more advanced?

We don't utilize our collective brain power nor are our individual minds trained to be what they can be.

A look back in history shows a continuous stream of civilizations rising, flourishing, and falling into near or complete collapse. We are not impervious to this. Many signs hint that we are following our predecessors.
